1. Health & Safety in Aesthetics (8h)
Health and safety are fundamental in aesthetics. Failing to follow hygiene protocols can lead to infections, allergic reactions, and decreased treatment quality. This lesson covers essential hygiene practices, sterilization methods, and guidelines for maintaining client and practitioner safety.

2. Skin Types & Common Anomalies (8h)
The skin is the largest organ of the human body and serves as a protective barrier, regulator of body temperature, and a sensory interface with the environment. Aesthetic professionals must understand the skin’s structure and functions to provide personalized treatments and recognize potential issues requiring specialist care.

3. Skincare Product Knowledge (8h)
Understanding skincare products and their active ingredients is essential for any aesthetician. The success of treatments and client satisfaction often depend on selecting the right products for specific skin types and concerns. This lesson will cover different categories of cosmetic products, the role of active ingredients, safe application techniques, and how to make personalized product recommendations.

4. Facial Treatments Basics (8h)
This module introduces the basics of facial care, covering standard treatments, microneedling facials and deluxe options. It provides students with essential knowledge and simple hands-on practice to understand core techniques before progressing to advanced procedures. For advanced facial techniques, equipment use and extensive practice you need to take Advanced Facial Treatment course.

5. Facial Treatments Advanced (8h)
Corrective work on skin that has a problem to solve. Advanced analysis with devices and a written treatment plan; superficial and medium-depth peel protocols selected by pH and molecule size rather than percentage; and dedicated strategies for congestion, pigment and reactive skin, each with its own referral criteria. Includes the actives-pause and treatment-interval rules, and a supervised session on a live model with a real presentation.

6. Facial Massage Techniques (8h)
The anatomy underneath the hands and the manual techniques built on it. Muscles of facial expression, vascular and lymphatic pathways, and the classical manoeuvres — effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, lymphatic drainage — with honest limits on what massage does and does not achieve. Practised as a full sequence across face, neck, décolletage and shoulders.

J’apprécie beaucoup que le cours insiste autant sur la sécurité. On parle des rétinoïdes oraux, de l’exposition au soleil, des peaux réactives et de la gestion des cas à risque. Je me sens maintenant beaucoup plus à l’aise de reporter ou de refuser un peeling lorsque la situation l’exige.

Great content overall and very thorough on skin biology. I would have liked a couple more video demos of the dermaplaning technique specifically, but the theory and the safety sections are genuinely excellent.

Honestly one of the best courses I’ve taken. It goes well beyond the basics — dermaplaning, enzyme peels, LED therapy and proper extraction technique are all covered in detail. What stood out to me was the focus on knowing *why* you’re choosing a treatment, not just how to perform it. The modules on contraindications and post-care gave me a lot more confidence with sensitive-skin clients.

Formation vraiment complète. La section sur l’analyse de la peau et la lecture des différents états cutanés est excellente — on apprend à adapter le soin au lieu d’appliquer toujours le même protocole. Les explications sur les actifs comme les AHA, les BHA et la vitamine C sont claires et bien vulgarisées.
