These terms apply to your use of our website, to booking our treatments, and to purchases made in our online store.

Treatment packages. Buying a package — a set of sessions sold at a total price — is governed by a separate page, which prevails over these terms in case of any difference: Packages — terms, payment and cancellation.
Our services
IPL Lab offers intense pulsed light (IPL) and laser treatments, skin rejuvenation, pigmentation correction, hair removal, microneedling, body contouring, facials, and skin brightening treatments, among others.
Our treatments are performed by qualified estheticians trained on each device. Protocols, settings and suitability are established at your consultation, based on your skin type and history.
Results
Results vary from person to person depending on skin type, hair colour, hormonal factors and adherence to before-and-after recommendations. We do not guarantee any specific result, nor a set number of sessions to reach a given outcome. Any recommended number of sessions is an estimate made at your consultation.
Health notice
- Our treatments accompany medical care; they do not replace it and are neither a diagnosis nor a medical treatment.
- Consult your physician before starting a treatment, particularly if you have a pre-existing condition or take medication.
- You must disclose the information relevant to your safety: history, allergies, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any recent treatment on the area to be treated.
- Certain conditions are contraindications. If our assessment indicates that a treatment is not suitable for you, we will tell you before you commit financially.
Consent
A consultation and a signed consent form precede your first session of each treatment type. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to purchase online.
- Certain treatments may be provided in clinic to a minor with the written consent of the person having parental authority and their presence at the consultation. Other treatments are not offered to minors.
Booking and appointments
- Appointments can be booked online, by phone or in clinic.
- We ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time.
- A significant delay may mean your session is shortened or rescheduled.
- We ask that you cancel or move an appointment at least 24 hours in advance. If you do not show up, or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, a $50 fee applies for the reserved time. If the appointment was part of a package, the session is not used up — it stays in your package.
Prices, taxes and payment
- All prices are in Canadian dollars and shown before taxes. GST and QST are added at payment and appear in your order breakdown.
- We accept major credit and debit cards, and the other payment methods shown at checkout.
- Financing available — Klarna · Affirm. The credit agreement is between you and the lender, and its terms are presented to you by the lender when you apply. Our price is the same whether or not you finance.
- Payment terms specific to packages are stated in your contract and on the Packages — terms, payment and cancellation page.
Cancellation, refunds and returns
- Packages. You may cancel a package at any time. The conditions and the refund calculation are set out on the Packages — terms, payment and cancellation page and in your contract.
- Single sessions. A session cancelled before it has been given is refunded to you. A session already received is not refundable, without prejudice to your remedies if the service was not as described.
- Products. Unopened products in original condition may be returned within 14 days of purchase, with proof of purchase. Opened products are not accepted for return unless defective.
- Gift cards. Gift cards and vouchers carry no expiry date and no activation or usage fees.
- These terms do not reduce the rights the law gives you, including legal warranties and the remedies provided by the Consumer Protection Act.
User accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- You agree to provide accurate and current information.
- You may ask to view, correct or delete your personal information at any time, except information we are required to retain for legal or administrative reasons.
Personal information
- Your information is collected, used and protected as described in our Privacy policy.
- If you finance a purchase, certain information is transmitted to the lender solely for the purpose of your credit application.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not disclose it to third parties for marketing purposes.
- Your consent to receive our commercial communications is separate from your purchase: it is never a condition of sale, and you may withdraw it at any time.

Text messages (SMS)
- By giving us your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from us: appointment reminders and confirmations, and, if you have separately consented, promotional offers.
- Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with us.
- You may withdraw your consent at any time by replying STOP to any message or writing to info@ipllab.com. You will continue to receive messages necessary for appointments you have booked.
- Message and data rates may apply, as determined by your carrier.
- We do not sell, rent or disclose your mobile number to third parties for marketing purposes.
Intellectual property
The content of this website — text, images, logos and trademarks — belongs to IPL Lab or its licensors. You may not reproduce or distribute it without written permission.
Liability
We perform our obligations with the care and skill expected of a professional. These terms neither limit nor exclude our liability for our own fault, and no stipulation can make you waive the rights the law gives you. If you believe you have suffered harm following a treatment, contact us and we will review the situation with you.
Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its update date. The terms applicable to your purchase are those in force at the time of that purchase.
Language
These terms are provided to you in French. You may consult the English version after receiving the French version. The French version is the reference version.
